Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Systems Engineers (Level 4) for a contract opportunity in St Charles, MO.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or similar Systems Modeling Language (SysML)-compatible tool for systems architecture and model development
  • Experience/domain knowledge of system architecture, requirements, interface definition, verification, and validation
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a part of the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization, Precision Engagement Systems (PES) is a dynamic and growing team with leadership that is focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions on Direct Attack (DA) programs. Connected to our customers’ missions, we deliver unique capability through our exceptional talent. The programs we support in Saint Charles, MO include Direct Attack weapons (JDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC and associated derivatives) utilized on various military aircraft, some ground-based platforms, and other future contract awards. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a life-cycle balanced system of systems and system solution(s) which satisfies customer/operational needs and public acceptability.
  • Defines system performance (requirements), integrates technical parameters, and assures compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture(s).
  • Perform affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties engineering analyses to obtain a preferred configuration which assures mission success.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION Minimum of a Bachelor's of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    WORK HOURS:

    FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
