Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Equipment Technician for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Must have ability to obtain a clearance
- Experience working with and measuring optics
- Experience with test measurement calibration tools (interferometer, autocollimator, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscope, RF generator, DMM)
- Electronic experience
- Physical calibration experience
- Experience with Indy soft (current calibration system used by team)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (to read procedures)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Calibrates optical and electronic measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.
- Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains optical, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
- Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.
- Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

- Accredited HSD/GED

- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st SHift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
