Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst for a contract opportunity in Wauwatosa, WI.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with senior business managers.
  • Solid analytical skills; record of strong continuous learning.
  • Ability to communicate essential financial concepts for ease of understanding by all players .
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Works, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to leverage a wide variety of data and related computer tools to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
  • Ability to lead self and works collaboratively to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing; listens effectively and clarifies information as needed; works well with others in a cross-functional team environment knowing who to engage to achieve results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to include the ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and effectively manage projects in a diverse organization.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Global Finance Controller in most operations:
  • Reporting:
  • Business Margin - Provide insight on margin trends or isolate variation by region, key account, & product
  • New Business development - Consolidate data and prepare analysis for monthly/quarterly management report
  • Fixed costs Analysis - Manage BU/ Corporate requirement to isolate variation by function & region
  • Monthly reporting (RCG ) - Prepare global slides with analysis commentary
  • Budget preparation - Owner of volume, sales, & margin (VPM) consolidation, budget deck consistency, and assist regional controllers with budget deck completion.
  • Process standardization within GBU -
  • Owner of reporting governance / consistency -VPM & reconciliation with P&L, BU customer and product segmentation, fixed cost by nature, region, and manufacturing costs segmentation.
  • Analyze processes to Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve consistency
  • Coordinate collection of data (sales, fixed costs ) in order to create Global Databases - Managing regional inputs to drive consistent global consolidation of reporting.
  • Carry out worldwide studies on Accounting practices and SAP usage
  • Fixed cost segmentation, margin variance categorization, gross to net sales, shared department allocation keys
  • Supports global functions such as product line marketing and key account managers on key initiatives like Connected Product line / sourcing model and pricing strategy analysis.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of SAP, OneStream, & Power BI experience preferred.
  • Experience in supporting a business unit or advanced business analysis preferred.
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelor's Degree.
  • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • May require working outside of normal business hours to meet deadlines
