Chipton-Ross is seeking an NC Programmer for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience
•Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured products (machined components and assemblies).
- Knowledge of GD&T and its application in CMM programming
- Completion of Zeiss Basic course required. Would also like candidate to have Zeiss Advanced and Curve/Free Form courses.
- Knowledge of CMM programming software (e.g. Zeiss Calypso)
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and reviews quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured parts.
- Develops CMM process including designing fixtures, determining probes, and programming the machines.
- Develops and implements new inspection processes and automation methods.
- Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
- Supports the senior CMM programmers to develop ultra-precision processes.
