Chipton-Ross is seeking an AI Engineer for a contract remote opportunity .



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Agentic frameworks and building agentic AI applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and prompt engineering for LLMs.
  • Ability to differentiate between data models (e.g., Meta vs. OpenAI) based on project requirements.
  • Hands on experience with Natural Language Processing and deploying scalable AI models.
  • Deep knowledge technologies (SAP HANA, DB2, SQL Server) and solid SQL expertise.
  • Experience building agentic AI or AI assistant style products.
  • Prior work with Lockheed Martin data platforms (EDE, LDW, EDW) or comparable enterprise scale environments.
  • Relevant cloud AI or machine learning certifications (e.g., Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML)

  • Knowledge/Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
