Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple MECH TECH J 3 (PAINTER) - Painter/Insulator for a contract opportunity in Charleston, SC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o 5 years of related experience with High School diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred. o Required PPE:
o MSA Comfo Classic Half/Full Face Respirators or o RESPIRATOR 3M SPEEDGLASS PAPR 9100MP ADFLO (Must have a approval from H&S) o 1401173 3M DBI SALA EXOFIT X100 14 Harness o 3500276 Nano-Lok Edge Twin leg PER.Self Retract Lanyards o MSA Skull Gard Hard Hat- Appropriate size o Welding shield compatible with MSA Skull Gard Hard Hat with shields o 3M PELTOR Optime 95 Earmuffs H6B/V ***WE DON'T USE EAR PLUGS*** o Kleenguard Calico safety glassesPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coats surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun. Selects and mixes coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma. School must be accredited.WORK HOURS:
First Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
