Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

Must Have 5+ years of Recent Aircraft experience (fighter jet preferred but not required) Clearance at minimum must be in process at time of start

SKILLS MATRIX:
Flight line Maintenance- 1 - 2 Years Avionics Testing- 6+ Years F-16- 6+ Years Fighter Experience (F16,F18,F22,F35)- 6+ Years Wireharness Print Reading- 6+ Years

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Flight Operations, testing/installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, Terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks to ensure flight readiness. You may also be required to troubleshoot and repairing electrical and avionics systems based on area team. You will sometimes perform other duties such as general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred with Avionics/Electrical Experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after training. 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

ADDITIONAL:

Active Secret Clearance preferred, ATO required, please start clearance process at offer acceptance


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
