Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 Structural Analysis Engineers 4 for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; St. Louis, MO; St. Charles, MO; Mascoutah, IL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

o Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position. o Regular and predictable attendance is required. o Accredited Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. o 10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience. o 8+ years' experience analyzing primary structure, subsystems, or weapons in the Aerospace Industry. o Experience performing hand calculations, using industry CAD system (e.g. PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA), FEM software (PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, Abaqus), and MS Office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client is building the future - creating innovative solutions that will define the next generation of aerospace. We are currently seeking Senior Structural Analysis Engineers to verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. These positions are located in the Greater St. Louis region and support current and emerging aircraft programs as part of the Air Dominance division. Positions will be located at one of the listed locations: Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; St. Louis, MO; St. Charles, MO; Mascoutah, IL.

o Leads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design. o Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment. o Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance. o Leads development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. o Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. o Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. o Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort. o Works under minimal direction

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

o Experience with Client Analysis Tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanics, Common Structures Workstation).

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

WORK HOURS:

Full-Time/First Shift 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Employment will be contingent on clearing a background check. Must clear prior to start date.
