Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 7-10 years of experience
  • SECRET security clearance
  • Real-time embedded software development
  • C++ (version 11 or higher)
  • Linux Operating Systems (CentOS, Rocky 8, or similar distribution)

    • POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The software is being developed on multi-core multi-threading environment using C++ on CentOS Linux and Windows Operating Systems environment.
  • The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Multi-threading/multiprocessing development
  • GitLab CI/CD Pipelines
  • GoogleTest or similar Unit test tool
    • Knowledge of Publish / Subscribe communication protocol Data Distribution Services (DDS) by RTI is preferred
  • Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA)
  • C-Make
  • Cameo Modeler
    • Windows Operating System
  • Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams

    • REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field

    • WORK HOURS:

  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 work schedule
  • 1st Shift


    • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
