Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Software Engineer-Developer 4's for a remote opportunity in Pleasanton, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o Experience developing and debugging software using high level programming languages (C#). o Experience developing and debugging software for database, gRPC integration and network interfaces. o Experience with software performance evaluation and analysis. o Experience with bug tracking and source control systems. o Experience with python scripting. o Regular and predictable attendance is required.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Software Engineer in Client's Secure Computing Solutions group, you will be part of the Pleasanton, California-based Integrated Product Team developing hardware and software security solutions for commercial and aerospace applications.
o Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. o Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system. o Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. o Works under minimal direction. o Working alongside the software and VLSI teams you will help develop and deliver high quality mission critical software for Client's custom processor solutions. o Client is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Experience with other high level programming languages like C, C++. o Experience developing embedded software for ARM processors. o Familiarity with computer/information security principles. o Familiarity with Intel Processor Architectures. o Experience working in an Agile development environment.REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree with 9 or more years' experience, or Master's with 7 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift 9:00 AM - 5:30 PMADDITIONAL:
Possible OT opportunities. RMTEmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
