Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Security Coordinators 1's for a contract opportunity in Redondo Beach, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
o This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen. o Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. o SCI with poly clearance per business requirements. o Security escort experience.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a Security Coordinator to provide Security escorting services by personally escorting, remaining physically present, and visually monitoring all activities of uncleared personnel assigned to approved work areas. Access to these work areas will be identified and approved by the Contractor Program Security Officer. This position involves interaction with internal and external contractors assigned to multiple projects. This position will be On-Call/Part-Time status with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities:
o Identify the uncleared personnel requiring escort into approved work areas o Interact effectively with various Security professionals o Remain physically present and alert at all times in the approved work area with the uncleared personnel o Deny access to work areas that has not been approved. o Actively monitor the movement and activities of the uncleared personnel to ensure no breach of security protocols occurs. o Immediately report any actual or suspected breach of security protocol to the designate representative. o Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or safety-related issues to Security representatives.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
o Active TS/SCI with poly security clearance. o DoD Security Clearance. o Ability to climb ladders o 2 years of Security experience.
REQUIERD EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required. School must be accredited.WORK HOURS:
This position will be On-Call/Part-Time status with a flexible schedule
MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
