Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manfuacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Teamcenter and/or SAP relevant to Bill of Material and/or Shop Floor Management (SFM)
- iBASEt (Solumina) and/or Computer Aided Production
- Planning (CAPP) and/or Shop Order Maintenance (SOM)
Demonstrated understanding of engineering blueprints, process specifications and manufacturing planning.- Must be experienced in standard manufacturing planning process and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and other applicable references.
- Demonstrate a technical writing aptitude.
- Possess strong communication skills, organization, scheduling and time management skills.
- Ability to utilize computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, CAPP/SFM along with model -based engineering systems; iBASEt, Teamcenter and 3DX.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Accredited HSD/GED

- Full-Time
- 4/10 work schedule
- 1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
