Integration and Test Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Virginia Beach, VA.

• Candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• 10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.
• Windows and Linux Cross-Platform test execution.
• Testing micro-service architectures.
• Database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.
• Frontend testing of a Web UI.

• Writing and executing test plans.
• Install and configure software components.
• Coordinate with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.
• Document, track, and report defects.

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.
• Knowledge of Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools such as Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), JLVC Analysis Workstation (JAWS), and Joint Simulation Bus (JBUS).
• VMWare virtualized environment experience.
• Experience with Agile workflows using Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.

• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

• 4/10-1st Shift

• Candidae must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
