Job #219519Chipton-Ross is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Miami, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Must have experience with WMS, ERP, or electronic database for inventory.
- Excel knowledge and computer experience required.
- All employees must be able to read and follow instructions both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail
- General warehouse experience.
- Able to work independently and possess problem solving abilities.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Strong verbal/written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Flexibility/willingness to adapt to operational needs
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Inventory Coordinator I, you will be responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to complete all internal and external customer requests. Position will be in one of the functional areas of the warehouse including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Work safely following all safety requirements.
- Create, distribute and complete daily cycle counts
- Determine material needed from 3PL warehouse to support production
- Determine material not needed for production that can be returned to the 3PL warehouse
- Practices good housekeeping and keeps inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
- Verifies accurate storage conditions of products and notifies Supervisor of any inventory issues that may arise such as Can’t Find, Expired Product, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.
- Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction maintain collaborative relationships and teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
- Lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 40-70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
- Specific PPE is required, including gloves, hair & beard net, safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry, and the like
- 75% office work/ 25% warehouse inventory position.
- Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
- Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Accredited High school diploma or equivalent required.
WORK HOURS
- Full-Time- Monday- Friday 07:00am-03:30pm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment with additional overtime as required

- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
