Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Payroll Assistant 3's for contract/hybrid opportunity in Irving, TX.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Working knowledge of Payroll fundamentals and Data Validation practices.
  • Proficiency and experience with Payroll systems and HR systems.
  • Demonstrated Customer Service skills, Call Center experience, and the ability to meet SLAs/Metrics.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent + 1 or more additional years of additional education (Business or Accounting) plus relevant work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Accuracy, data integrity, and strong follow-through.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize recurring and urgent requests.
  • Discretion in handling confidential employee and payroll data.
  • Willing to work a Hybrid schedule.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • SAP experience.
  • Prior experience working in a shared service or center of excellence environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Payroll Assistant 3 supports accurate and timely payroll processing for each payroll process and providing responsive customer support within established service-level agreements (SLAs). This role contributes to departmental goals through updating and validating record each payroll cycle.

Task & Responsibilities:

Sector Support for:

  • Processing and validating supplemental pay request.
  • Processing and validating out of cycle pay request.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers (internal & external) within SLA.
  • Perform assigned project duties to support the departmental goals and objectives.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers within required SLAs.
  • Perform assigned project duties to support system enhancements, process improvements, and departmental objectives.
  • Special processing for adjustments, or off-cycle items in alignment with policy and compliance requirements.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS

5/40 workweek. Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule.

  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
