Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionics Engineer for a contract opportunity in Stratford, CT.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports development, design, integration and test function of Instrumentation, Avionics/flight control systems, including electronics , cable routing, harness fabrication and soldering. Experience working with crimpers, multimeters and wire stripping tools is required. Analyzes product/system designs, applying knowledge of technology and materials to ensure a design that considers functionality, appearance, availability, safety and cost.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

Experience working on flight aircraft preferred.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Accredited Bachelor's Degree with 4-8 years of experience or accredited Master's Degree with 2-6 years of experience.

WORK HOURS

5/40-1st Shift/Full-Time.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
