Job #220081Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Manufacturing Technician 1's for a contract opportunity in San Diego, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Produces and able to learn how to operate various software systems (Costpoint CP and MES).
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for a Manufacturing Technician 1 to support our team. The selected candidate will report to the appropriate Value Stream Manager & support key production programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the assembly of various composite and metallic components.
- Read and comprehend Manufacturing Work Instructions and internal specifications.
- Follow both written and verbal directions.
- Good time management and a team player.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Mechanically inclined.
- Familiar with composite and metallic details.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
9/80 workweek. This position will be on-site at the Miramar San Diego site.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
