Manufacturing/Production Assembler

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Strong mechanically inclined entry-level candidates, technical-school graduates, apprentices, transitioning military and veterans encouraged to apply!

Manufacturing, assembly, construction, installation, fabrication, warehouse or comparable hands-on experience preferred.

Mechanical aptitude; ability to use tools and basic measurement.

Ability to follow drawings, work instructions and verbal direction.

Dependable, safety-conscious and quality-focused.

Forklift/material handling helpful but not required.

Assemble components and finished products to drawings, work instructions and production requirements.

Use hand and power tools; measure, fit, align, fasten and inspect components.

Perform basic quality checks and identify defects or discrepancies.

Stage and move materials; support packaging, wrapping, labeling and shipping preparation.

Maintain an organized and safe work area.

Support machine operators and other production personnel.

Cross-train as Charleston capabilities expand and participate in quality/productivity improvement.
