Assembler I

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler I in West Henrietta, NY for a contract labor opportunity.

Minimum 3 years electronics assembly experience or equivalent with soldering experience on printed circuit boards

Ability to solder/de-solder/rework assemblies/SMT experience

IPC-610 & JStandard 001 (preferred)

Ability to read and follow directions with heavy attention to detail

Able to use ERP system to complete tasks as required

Able to read color coded Process Details

Ability to utilize Microsoft Programs

Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools, along with electrical and mechanical fixtures and gauges, to perform precision assembly tasks

Operate standard measuring and test equipment such as dial indicators, micrometers, and voltmeters

Work with drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials to support production activities

Perform precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components as required

Inspect and test your own work to ensure it meets established specifications and quality standards

Verify and review the work of others for accuracy and compliance

Perform a variety of mechanical, optical, and electrical/electronic operations

Follow detailed work instructions, safety protocols, and production procedures

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

Accredit High School Diploma or GED

Monday-Friday 7AM to 3:30PM
