Job #219828Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a remote contract opportunity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Circuit Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis)
- Experience in development phase of aerospace hardware.
- Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
- Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
- A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Researches designs develops and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- Experience with analog / power circuit Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA).
- Experience instructing and creating training materials for Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
- Experience in electronic systems schematic creation and interpretation, and Electronics Modeling/Simulation Software such as SPICE.
- Experience performing failure Investigation on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System
Level).
- Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, stakeholders, subcontractors and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a exciting, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to create consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
- Demonstrated excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
WORK HOURS
- 5/40-1st Shift RMT

- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
