Manufacturing Engineer

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity in Clearwater, FL.

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, focusing on process improvements across for our CCA builds, with a focus on thru-hole technology. Successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability.

What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Engineer you will play a key role in driving process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process development and implementation to equipment maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes and provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

• Analyzing and optimizing CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple CCA programs and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Learning to create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
• Work closely with senior engineers to gain experience and learn manufacturing processes.
• Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
• Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed.

Accredited Bachelor's Degree or Accredited Master's Degree.

Full-Time; 4/10-1st Shift.

• Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
