Job #220161Chipton-Ross is hiring a Client Support Specialist to support our recruiting team in placing engineering, technical, manufacturing, administrative and professional talent with aerospace, defense and shipbuilding clients. This is a full-time, in-house role and a direct path into a full Recruiter position for someone who learns fast and wants to build a career in staffing.
Locations: Playa del Rey, CA · Charleston, SC · Newport News, VA · Pascagoula, MS · Remote considered for the right candidate
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
1+ year of experience in an office, customer service, administrative or sales role
Strong people skills: builds rapport quickly, listens well and represents the company professionally with candidates and clients
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including on the phone with candidates and clients
High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
Ability to manage multiple job orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
You will keep our job orders accurate in the ATS, find and screen candidates, get qualified resumes in front of clients, and keep offers and paperwork moving so recruiters can spend their time closing placements.
Job order management
Enter new job orders into the ATS accurately and promptly, including requirements, pay rates, clearance level, location and client contacts
Update job orders as status, requirements or headcount change; close or place on hold as directed
Post openings to job boards, the company website and social channels, and keep postings current
Run regular audits so the ATS reflects what is actually open
Sourcing and screening
Source candidates through the ATS database, job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and other channels
Review resumes against job requirements and conduct initial phone screens for experience, availability, pay expectations, work authorization and clearance status
Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
Re-engage past candidates and contractors coming off assignment
Client submittals and communication
Format resumes to company standards and submit qualified candidates to clients through email or vendor management systems (VMS)
Communicate with client contacts to confirm requirements, follow up on submittals and schedule interviews
Track submittal status and client feedback, and relay updates to recruiters and candidates
Offers and onboarding support
Prepare and send offer details to recruiters for extension to candidates
Confirm start dates and assignment details with candidates, recruiters and clients
Recruiting team support
Keep candidate records, notes and activity in the ATS complete and current
Prepare activity and pipeline reports for the Recruiting Manager
Assist with job fairs, career events and recruiting campaigns
Handle other recruiting and administrative tasks as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited High school diploma or equivalent
