Job #220343Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Brush & Roll Painter's for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Candidates must have at least one to three years of experience as a marine brush and roll painter applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings, including surface preparation and cleaning using power tools.
- Applying coatings using brushes and rollers while maintaining the required coating thickness in mils.
- Using power tools for surface preparation and cleaning.
- Working in confined spaces, at heights, and around moving equipment.
- Using half-face and full-face respiratory equipment daily.
- Climbing vertical ladders, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
- Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- PPE: Hard hat, safety, glasses, respirator, steel toes, ear muffs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
All shifts.

- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
