Job #218930Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Painter 1 for a contract opportunity in San Diego, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED and 2-5 years of experience.
- Experience with BR127 primer.
- Application of aerospace paints to complex shaped structures.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- We are looking for a Production Painter 1 to support our paint/wet chemistry department. As a member of the paint/wet chemistry department you’ll get to paint and prime a variety of aerospace structures. This position will serve on-site.
- Coats surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun.
- Selects and mixes coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller.
- May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS
9/80 workweek.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
